From the black sands of Bethells Beach, Te Henga Collective bring a fusion of reggae, rap, ska and rock. With their infectious songwriting and invigorating live performances, the band has been making a name for themselves along the West Coast. Influenced by bands like Sublime and Slightly Stoopid, Te Henga Collective capture the iconic Californian reggae sound whilst adding their own Westie touch to the mix. The band formed in 2012 whilst still in high school and since their inception, have been crafting their sound and partying it up from Piha to Muriwai, and everywhere in between. As well as hosting their own internet radio show and running their own annual music festival, the band's DIY attitude has established themselves a local cult following. In 2015 THC self released their debut EP "Plant the Seeds" and promoted it with a live performance on 95bfm. With a new single soon to be released, Te Henga Collective are gearing up to let loose their energetic and care-free songs to listeners.
